Most transport problems come from anonymity: a different driver every week, nobody accountable for the vehicle. We run it the other way around, and put our family name over the door to stand behind it.
- Familiar faces on the route. Runs are driven by a small, consistent team. Children, parents and schools know who is at the wheel.
- Vehicles maintained by the mile. Servicing and tyres are scheduled on mileage, not guesswork, with NCT and inspections tracked well ahead of due dates.
- A family business, not a broker. You deal directly with the people who own and run the cars.

We're expanding our routes and looking for reliable drivers who want steady, school-hours work: mornings and afternoons on a set route, with a fixed day rate paid weekly.
It's rewarding, meaningful work helping local children get to and from school, with a lifestyle to match: school terms only, so mid-terms, Christmas, Easter and the whole summer are yours. A handy way to top up a pension without giving up your time.
Suits retired and semi-retired drivers, and anyone whose day has room at 8am and 3pm.
What the work looks like
- A set route near you: same run, same times, every school day
- Fixed day rate, paid weekly
- School terms only: every mid-term, Christmas, Easter and the full summer off
- Car, fuel, insurance and maintenance all provided
What you need
- Valid SPSV licence and current SPSV medical
- Full driving licence
- Garda vetting (we arrange it with you)
- Reliability, patience, common sense and a sense of humour
Not an SPSV driver yet?
If you're thinking about getting your SPSV licence, we'd like to hear from you now. We'll point you through the licensing process step by step, give you free access to our SPSV exam training platform to prepare for the NTA entry test, and reimburse your medical cert cost once you start driving with us. Licensed and vetted drivers from our pathway get priority consideration for upcoming routes.
Straight talk: licensing is at your own cost and typically takes a number of months. This is a pathway to future routes, not an immediate start.
